The Role
Delta Financial Systems, part of the Bravura Solutions network, has an exciting opportunity as a UAT Test Specialist in our Birmingham Office.  We are looking for a candidate who can quickly on-board and add value to projects being run within Delta Financial Systems. This role is key to the ongoing development of our platform functionality for SIPP and SSAS.   The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a formal agile software development function.

As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will operate alongside the scrum teams to deliver quality as we grow our product suite.   The role involves working with key stakeholders within Development, Test, Support and Product communities to ensure quality.  The work will involve evaluating project deliverables as well as customer bug fixes etc to ensure needs are met.

Person Profile
The successful candidate will be a confident UAT tester or someone with a pensions background who strives to deliver high quality work. The right candidate will be able to communicate, collaborate and challenge their peers to ensure success each sprint and ensure changes meet business requirements.  

The role would be of interest to someone who is passionate about software testing and is able to evaluate changes from an end-user perspective.  The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Possesses good interpersonal skills when working with both technical and non-technical individuals 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • ISEB / ISTQB Certified (or similar)
  • Financial Services experience, particularly SIPP/SSAS
  • Commercial experience of testing software changes 
  • Experience of writing test plans
