Description & Requirements:

Position Purpose
In this role you will be expected to work within the Client Services department but interface with other teams within Bravura. Notably the Cloud Programme, Infrastructure and Applications Development Teams.  

As we transition to using AWS, moving away from our current Data Centre, we need to create a Target Operating Model that fully utilises new modern Devops processes whilst maintaining good ITSM practices.

Main Activities
  • Work within the Cloud Programme and Client Services to create a Target Operating Model with embedded ITSM People, Process & Technology.
  • Create Service Acceptance models for the Cloud Programme team to ensure smooth transition into live operations, with associated management reporting
  • Own the end to end Service Design & Transition activity in the Cloud Programme. 
  • Own the Non-Functional Requirements for the Cloud Programme
  • Ensure Incident, Problem & Change service models are understood and appropriate runbooks are in place prior to Go Live.
  • Create Monitoring & Alerting standards for the Cloud Programme to deliver into
  • Provide leadership and direction on Service Architecture and Design to senior stakeholders

Key skills
  • An understanding of the complete service lifecycle including concept through to sourcing, design, build, test, deployment and disposal management 
  • Demonstrable experience in requirements definition and management, calling out options, considerations & priorities which require a business decision
  • An Information & Technology background with relevant experience in a technical and/or consulting environment

Qualifications and Experience
  • Financial Services Management experience
  • AWS Cloud Service Management experience
  • ITIL v3 certification in Service Design
  • Experience of using Servicenow
  • Working with Non Functional Requirements
  • Desirable experience of Grafana, Prometheus, APM tool (AppD), Log Aggregation (Splunk)
  • DevOps Operational Model / Culture experience
  • Define Target Operating Model / RACI Matrix
  • Understand technical solution and the customer SLA

  • Cost modelling
