Description & Requirements:

Position Purpose
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering large projects to our Sonata Wealth customers. This will involve managing the full end to end project lifecycle including managing customer relationships to deliver successful shared outcomes, providing leadership to the Bravura project teams, providing control, risk management, reporting and maintaining plans and tracking deliverables.

Main Activities
  • Client Programme: Ensure Bravura’s plan is achievable and fits in with the clients overall programme plan
  • Contractual Accountability: Awareness of Bravura’s contractual commitments and ensure that these are met
  • Stakeholder Management: full responsibility for the relationship with senior members of change management teams within one or more of Bravura’s clients
  • Project Delivery: establishing and managing effective multi workstream project operations to deliver quality outcomes
  • Project Definition: controlling the definition of project requirements and high-level solutions. Responsible for managing these into the development team and for user acceptance on delivery
  • Resource Management: defining and managing necessary project resources. Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan
  • Financial Management: Preparing project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring and tracking project financials and the realisation of defined project benefits
  • Budget Management: establishing, managing and reporting on project budget(s), analysing budget variances and recommending appropriate action

Key skills
  • Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, cost, time, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
  • Effective leadership, relationship, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolutions skills
  • Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to quality and the will to constantly drive improvements
  • Financial management / reporting and analysis skills
  • Strong commercial & contract management skills
  • A strong track record of technology delivery success
  • Ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with client counterparts
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (ideally PRINCE2 and/or Agile)
  • Experience working with off-shore development teams, either in house or external

Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong experience as a project manager working within an IT and financial services-based function
  • Experience in owning the delivery of large-scale packaged software implementations
  • Experienced in consultancy based project delivery with a focus on client relationship management
  • Domain knowledge of the wealth management or platform industry
  • Experience of leading multiple projects across different locations
  • Educated to degree level in a science, engineering or mathematical subject
