About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Account Management - APAC and based out of our office in Sydney or Melbourne, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong executive relationships with existing clients and developing processes and strategies that increase revenue and margin from existing and new accounts, ensuring client satisfaction is maintained.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with key clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutions, services and upgrades to maintain and grow revenue 
  • Implement a formal account plan process to manage executive engagement, expectations and deliverables 
  • Manage customer feedback, manage complaint escalations and implement strategies to enhance customer outcomes, client retention and continued business
  • Implement a reporting process for customer engagements, feedback and satisfaction results and  develop strategies to enhance customer outcomes
  • Lead the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids and contracts
  • Resolve and manage contract matters and queries as well as amendments, renewals and renegotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams such as Support, Product, Consulting, Legal, Finance to  assist in achieving client  & company goals
  • Lead the preparation of sales promotions, campaigns and events
  • Liaise with development team regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business  
  • Identify and propose changes to the product based on client needs
  • Provide reporting and analysis to Sales Director and Executives

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:
  • Degree qualified
  • 8 + years of enterprise software sales and account management experience within Financial Services or Information Technology industry
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and establishing successful and retaining long term client relationships
  • Strong relationship management skills, presentation skills and expert communication to build and manage strong relationships with both internal and external key executive stakeholders
  • Ability to use data and analysis to develop and drive strategies to achieve company and client goals
  • Experience with contract negotiations and renewals with clients at all levels 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a robust approach to solving complex problems to provide a great outcome
  • Ability to inspire, influence and a drive to win
