Description & Requirements. 
The Programme Planner is responsible for ensuring that our key processes are being followed during the Sonata SDLC & STLC by GEO Teams and those teams that engage with GEO via shard processes i.e., Professional Services / Support. This level of control ensures we deliver high quality software, on budget and in a predictable fashion.   In addition, the Programme Planner will be responsible for ensuring that all JIRA changes to GEO owned Jira projects are discussed and agreed via the GEO Jira Change Board along with Planning forecast 

Main Activities:
Manage the Sonata Control Framework (SCF) which includes:
identify new control points by working with teams across the organisation 
Ensure existing control points remain relevant and in step with JIRA practices across organization
Publish ongoing progress and trends to management
Maintain and develop JIRA processes and workflows which facilitate the efficient delivery of the SDLC & STLC processes
Efficiently manages the JIRA changes required globally to assist the teams to deliver the quality work without impacting the best practices
Responsible for coordinating weekly SCF project meetings, collating, communicating, and managing actions and driving completion of tasks within the teams
Responsible for resource and capacity management for planning forecast.

Key Skills:
Good overall IT literacy 
3-9 years of experience
Nice to have JIRA and Microsoft experience 
Broad experience of the software development life cycle
Formal project management qualifications desirable
Extensive experience working within a service delivery environment
Strong track record or project management and delivery within a service delivery environment, ideally a software house
