About The Role
Based in our Sydney office and reporting to the Professional Services Lead, The Program Manager will have full accountability for the delivery of client facing projects and assisting with pre sales activities to secure future business.
What You’ll Do
- Governance: define the programs governance structure ensuring processes and policies are adhered to with a focus on industry and organisation best practice.
- Program Planning: lead long term planning with clients, which will involve ensuring the budget, timescales, forecasting of resourcing required and expected benefits are tracked and met.
- Program Delivery: responsibility for the overall delivery of the program of work through proactively monitoring its progress, resolving risks and initiating action. Accountable for the quality delivery of projects and time & cost targets.
- Financial Management: defining, maintaining and tracking program budgets and invoicing of project work.
- Risk and Issue Management: proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across the project to ensure successful delivery of programs.
- Client Engagement: foster strong client relationships, attend project steering committee meetings and manage expectations as an escalation point to ensure alignment with business objective and client needs.
- Commercials: responsible for formalising contractual terms within SOW's through to execution of contracts
- Pre-Sales: Assist in RFP's and project delivery estimations. Attend client workshops and present to prospective clients on delivery and implementation approach.
Unleash your potential
To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:
- 8 + years project management experience running programmes of work within the financial services industry and owning the full delivery of packaged software implementations
- Experienced in consultancy based project delivery with a focus on client relationship management
- Domain knowledge of the wealth management or platform industry and industry standard requirements
- Experience of leading multiple projects simultaneously and knowledge of agile project management methodologies
- Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to quality and the will to constantly drive improvements
- Financial management, forecasting and budget management, reporting and analysis skills
- Strong commercial, contract negotiation and resolutions skills
- Effective leadership skills, the ability to build, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and cross functional teams
- Strong organisational, facilitation and communication skills
