Job Purpose
This role is responsible for leading a team of two senior IAM analysts, who are responsible for assessing, approving, provisioning, reviewing, and monitoring user access requests in line with security policies, compliance requirements, and least-privilege principles. The IAM Lead will act as the senior point of escalation for access-related decisions, lead IAM governance, support audit and compliance requirements and partner with infrastructure, cloud, security and business teams to strengthen identity security controls and operational maturity.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical IAM expertise, with working experience in cloud security, role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management, and access governance within enterprise environments.
This position plays a critical role in protecting organizational assets by ensuring appropriate access controls are implemented, maintained, and audited across cloud and enterprise systems.
What You’ll Do

IAM Governance & Leadership
- Lead day-to-day IAM operations and access governance activities across Microsoft Entra and AWS platforms
- Provide oversight and approval for complex or high-risk access requests
- Establish and maintain IAM standards, policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Drive least-privilege and Zero Trust access strategies across enterprise systems and cloud platforms
- Act as the primary escalation point for identity and access management issues
- Mentor and support IAM analysts and access control teams
Access Management & Security
- Assess and validate access requests against business requirements, segregation of duties (SoD), and security policies
- Oversee provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning of user access across cloud and enterprise environments
- Review and govern:
Microsoft Entra ID roles and permissions
– AWS IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries
– Privileged access and administrative accounts
– Conditional Access and MFA policies
– Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Lead periodic access recertification and entitlement review processes
- Identify and remediate excessive, orphaned, or inappropriate access permissions
- Support identity-related security incident investigations and remediation activities
Stakeholder & Compliance Management
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud engineering, HR, audit, and application owners to ensure compliant access governance
- Support internal and external audit activities and provide IAM evidence and reporting
- Ensure IAM controls align with regulatory and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, and GDPR
- Produce metrics, reporting, and risk assessments relating to access control effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities within IAM processes
- Develop and maintain access control procedures, standards, and documentation
Unleash your potential
- 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or Cyber Security
- Proven experience leading IAM or access governance functions within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
– Microsoft Entra ID
– AWS IAM
– RBAC and privileged access management
– Access governance and entitlement reviews
Strong understanding of:
– Least privilege and Zero Trust principles
– Segregation of Duties (SoD)
– Identity lifecycle management
– Cloud security and identity federation
– Authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
- Experience supporting compliance and audit requirements
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading process improvement or IAM transformation initiatives
