Role Description
The Head of Enterprise Applications, reporting to the Global Head of IT, is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, evolution and transformation of Bravura’s enterprise application and data platforms, ensuring they effectively support business operations, regulatory obligations and future growth.
This role owns the implementation, deployment, enhancement and lifecycle management of core business systems including Workday and EPM and our data platforms including Snowflake, TM1, Power BI and associated middleware. It leads a multi-disciplinary team comprised of product owners, developers, testers, data specialists and business analysts.
Over the next 18-24 months the role will also play a key part in a period of system change, including the implementation or replacement of selected enterprise platforms that support processes including Procure to Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management and Professional Services Delivery.
Day‑to‑day operational support is transitioning to a separate Enterprise Applications Support function within Service Delivery, with a strong and clearly managed build–run interface.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Applications Leadership
- Own the enterprise applications and data platform roadmap, balancing business demand, platform stability, cost and risk
- Ensure enterprise systems are reliable, scalable, well‑governed and fit for purpose
- Act as the senior technology owner for internal business platforms, providing clear accountability and decision‑making
Product & Platform Ownership
- Establish strong product ownership disciplines for enterprise platforms, with clear backlogs, success measures, prioritisation and business benefit tracking
- Govern decisions on configuration, customisation, integration and decommissioning
- Ensure platforms are supportable, secure and aligned to enterprise architecture standards
Data Platform & Analytics Enablement
- Own the evolution of the enterprise data platform, including the ongoing migration to Snowflake
- Ensure high‑quality, trusted data is available for reporting, analytics, planning and decision‑making
- Oversee data governance, migration and security in partnership with Information Security and GRC teams
- Drive high-quality, timely, self-service reporting through modernised platforms, integrations and tools including Microsoft Power BI
Leadership & Capability Management
- Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary team through both steady‑state delivery and periods of change
- Set clear accountabilities, performance expectations and development pathways
- Build sustainable, cost-effective internal capability while effectively leveraging partners where appropriate to effectively balance and meet delivery timescales and budgets
Governance, Risk & Assurance
- Be accountable for enterprise application risks, including technical debt, vendor dependency, resilience and data integrity
- Ensure systems and changes comply with security, regulatory and internal control requirements
- Support internal and external audits relating to enterprise systems and data
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, People & Culture, Product Teams and Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, including performance, commercial arrangements and roadmap alignment
- Provide clear, concise updates to the Global Head of IT and executive stakeholders on performance, risks and delivery
Skills & Experience:
- Senior leadership experience owning and delivering enterprise applications and data platforms
- Strong experience with Finance, HR or Planning systems (e.g. Workday, EPM, TM1 or similar)
- Practical understanding of modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics ecosystems
- Experience delivering business transformation powered by system change and replacement in a live business environment
- Proven ability to lead and develop multi‑disciplinary technology teams across multiple geographies
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement and decision‑making skills
- Experience operating within a service‑oriented or product‑aligned IT operating model
- Background in a regulated or audit‑heavy environment is desirable
