About The Role
Based in the Sydney and reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Global Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance will be responsible for effective management of Risk, Business Continuity, Internal Review and Compliance, which includes management of GRC of all locations globally inclusive of subsidiaries.
What You'll Do
This position will manage and motivate a diverse GRC team that is responsible for the implementation and embedding of Risk, Business Continuity, Internal Review and Compliance. Your position will also include but are not limited to:
- Identify and document business risks (compliance, operational), and instigate corrective action to remedy compliance and risk management control gaps
- Development and monitoring of company policies, risk management policies, risk appetite and metrics for operational risk and perform monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs) on a regular basis.
- Develop and implement BCM and ORM program/framework that aligns with the organization’s objectives, policies, and strategies
- Contribute to emergency management plans, crisis management, communication plans and workspace recovery
- Assist in establishing and maintaining risk appetite and metrics for operational risk and perform monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs)
- Recruit, lead, manage and develop the GRC team to deliver functional and business outcomes.
Unleash Your Potential
- 5-10 years of experience in risk management, business continuity, audit, and compliance.
- Leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of business continuity processes and implementation
- Strong communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Understanding ISO 22301, ISO31000 and APRA standards
- BCI or DRI Certification FBCI or MBCP highly desirable
