Description & Requirements:

Come join Bravura as an integral part of the team responsible for the technical roadmap and architecture of Bravura’s application suite. Reporting to the Head of Architecture and working with a global architecture team to continually iterate and improve the reach of our products for customers.  You will be empowered to drive innovation, creatively solve issues, as well as proactively look for opportunities to improve the design, interface, and architecture of Bravura’s products on the cloud.

To succeed, you'll need real-world experience building high-performance, large-scale solutions in a high-growth environment. Being passionate about the customer experience, having the ability to ask tough questions, communicate ideas, and work across functional areas are traits that will serve you well.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluation and recommendation of cloud application technologies and toolsets
  • Development of prototypes and concept validations  
  • Mentoring other members of the cross-functional team of architecture SMEs 
  • Technical leadership in optimising the highly automated, resilient, and observable cloud reference architecture
  • Collaboration with global peers in architecture and hosting to achieve a globally consistent IaC product code
  • Leadership in the design of microservices, the associated encapsulation principles, and API architecture

Skills that will help you succeed in this role: 

  • Lived experience in software product development
  • Experience with NIST, CIS, OWASP, JAVA
  • Deep understanding of public cloud technology in AWS or Azure, with containerized deployment at scale
  • Experience with Terraform IaC scripting and another scripting such as Bash, Python or Go
  • Experience building Microservices, ideally using micro containers such as Micronaut or Quarkus
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, Docker, automated CI\CD pipelines, DNS, Load balancing, and NAT
  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Familiarity with observability technologies such as Prometheus and Jaeger. 
  • Knowledge of information security management and operation, governance techniques and incident management in traditional IT and Cloud computing environments
  • Proficient in an IDE such as IDEA, Eclipse or Visual Studio
