We’re taking our competitive product suite and expanding into new markets, and, with this expansion, we are growing our distribution capability.  

We’re seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to lead sales growth within the VIC/TAS advice market. As the face of Midwinter, you will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and attracting new customers, as well as building a sustainable sales pipeline and converting these opportunities to expand our in-market footprint.

In this newly created role, you will own the client experience including ascertaining user and stakeholder goals, providing education on the functionality and benefits of Midwinter products and partnering with clients to ensure product configuration, data migration and ongoing service is delivered to support their business objectives.

The desired candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a new business sales environment – preferably within financial services
  • An understanding of the challenges, opportunities and trends emerging across the financial advice landscape – particularly in relation to technology and practice development
  • The ability to identify and establish opportunities, nurture a sales pipeline and deliver results
  • A robust approach to solving complex problems and a determination to provide a great outcome
  • A strong customer focus with expert communication and presentation skills
  • RG146 qualification would be an advantage
