Description & Requirements:

Our consultants are a core member of a layered, multi-disciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing world-class business solutions.

You will be responsible for supporting our customers product propositions and operating models throughout the implementation of software solutions. This role can be based from any of our offices in New Zealand.

Main activities:

  • Business process: collaborate with our client to define how an in-scope business process will be fulfilled through the alignment of people, process and technology
  • Requirements: document what the technology platform needs to achieve to support the client’s operating model, organisation structure and ways of working
  • Solutioning: identify how the client’s technology requirements can be best supported within the Sonata Alta platform through configuration and new development
  • Configuration: participate in the configuration of the Sonata application
  • Test criteria: develop the criteria that engineering staff will use to ensure that any development work has been successfully completed
  • Test support: analyse incidents arising from user test to determine whether the Sonata Alta application is working as expected
  • Work administration: plan and account for all implementation effort expended
  • Stakeholder management: build and maintain stakeholder relationships

Key Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with tertiary qualifications, working within successful technology implementation programmes 
  • Developed an understanding of software development, product development, and system support
  • A proven analytical approach towards identifying solutions to underlying problems and incidents 
  • Proven client-facing consultancy and relationship skills within a large commercial environment
  • An understanding of SQL and relational datamodels would be advantageous
  • Experience in BPM, or other applicable technical skills such as an understanding of web services,  XML, XPath and digital technologies would also be an advantage
