Position Purpose

This role will report into the Development Lead in the Workflow Centre of Excellence group that is responsible for

delivering Business Process Management functionality to internal clients and external customers of Bravura.

This role is responsible for coding, designing and unit testing of Sonata Process models product to develop and maintain it based on client requirements, by following agile SDLC practice and by working closely with the Consultants of Client Services group.

Primary Customer for this role will be Development Lead and Primary Suppliers will be Workflow Consultants.

What You’ll Do

·       Design and develop workflows using Sonata Workflow scripting language, HTML, and web service functionality.

·       Knowledge of Scripting language like JavaScript, VBScript is desirable. Knowledge of Angular 2.0 will be added advantage.

·       Good understanding of one of the popular BPM tools like IBM’s BPM, Appian BPM etc.

·       Undertake troubleshooting and problem solving of software defects, application, and technical environment issues.

·       Advanced level ability to de-bug code and identify and rectify defects or data issues.

·       Develop and execute effective unit and function tests for all software changes.

·       Working with Workflow Consultants, complete software design and estimation activities for complex enhancements

·       Working with Business Consultants, Workflow Consultants and Technical Consultants, assist with formulating software solutions that address business requirements.

·       Provide assistance as required to colleagues (e.g. other Developers, Business Analysts/Consultants and Test Analysts).

·       Undertake software builds and installations.

·       Assist with preparation and delivery of software releases.

·       Understand and follow technical and quality standards and procedures.

·       Suggest and recommend changes to technical standards and procedures.

·       Competently use project and team systems (JIRA, Confluence, EPM, Lotus Notes, GIT)

·       Document all work effectively.

·       Undertake and participate in peer reviews.

·       Participate effectively in team and project meetings.

·       Ensure assigned work is completed in a time

·       B.E./B-Tech/MCA

·       5-8 Years of experience

·       Has experience with large/complex Software Product development.

·       Worked in software development environment with medium to large teams (i.e. teams > 5 persons)

·       Strong analytical skills including knowledge of UML or other structured analysis method.

·       Has worked within organizations where typical or best-practice software development methods and practices have been utilized.
